Dewatering Bags, sometimes referred to as pipe socks, filter water to remove sediment and other pollution or waste. Our bags are fabricated from a non-woven geotextile fabric that is needle-punched to allow only water out while retaining fine soils and particles as small as 100 micron. The fabric’s high filtering qualities make our bags perfect for a variety of applications.
Bags are sewn closed so that openings can be cut and secured to discharge pipe specification and minimize the risk of leakage. Dewatering Bags are an effective and economical tool in meeting environmental legislation. They are a single-use item and are typically disposed in a recycle center.
Standard Dewatering Bags are available in a variety of sizes. Contact us for details.
